Samsungs want to build more hype over its high end system-on-a-chip, so they have decided to give a brand new name…
Even though it underwent a rebranding, the chip itself has already been on the market in the form know as the Exynos 5 Octa 5433, which is currently powering the Korean version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, which isn’t a bad thing. In most markets available its the only version of the Galaxy Note 4.
The newly branded Exynos 7 Octa has a powerful four Cortex-A57 cores which handles heavy duty processing and the four lower powered Cortex-A53 cores is for increased energy efficiency by taking on the lighter loads.
