All new Star Wars Battlefront reveal trailer

Star Wars fan? I mean who isn’t?

At the Star Wars celebration which was held in California, DICE and Electronic arts have revealed the “Game Engine Footage” for the newly crafted Star Wars Battlefront. Unfortunately the video down below is not actual gameplay footage, but it just shows how spectacular this game is going to look like when it comes out. Seemingly DICE made extensive use of the Frostbite Engine that just drives this game to a whole new level.

The Star Wars Trailer, “Game Engine Footage” was set on the forest moon of Endor. From Y-Wings swooping in and dropping some a grade bombs to deploying a shield generators to protect yourself from the blasting AT-ST’s which just makes the anticipation for the game so much more exciting.

DICE has also a mission that they have set out for the players. The mission will based on the planet of Jakku, which is the desert like planet that has been revealed in the two trailers for the upcoming movie, Star Wars The Force Awakens. You will be able to experience the events that took place that created the landscape of Jakku.

The official announcement:

The pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet on the Outer Rim. Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

There are some rumors of the game being released on the 17th of November 2015, but at the end of the trailer you see that states the game will be released on the 20th of November for the UK version.

There is also your usual pre-order incentives, I like those. If you pre-order Star Wars Battlefront, you get to play the free expansion, Battle of Jakku, a whole week early on the 1st of December this year which will be playable a week before the release of the movie.

According to DICE, the game will be running at 60 FPS on the PS4, Xbox One and PC, but they do not state the resolutions which they are aiming for in the two consoles.
